Severin Lüthi

Severin Lüthi is an experienced tennis expert and dedicated sports official. He has been the captain of the Swiss Davis Cup team from 2005 to the present and led the Fed Cup/Billie Jean King Cup team from 2005 to 2007. As a coach, he worked with Roger Federer from May 2007 to September 2022 and Holger Rune from December 2023 to January 2024. Additionally, he was an advisor for Stan Wawrinka between 2012 and 2014.
Severin is a board member of the Swiss Open Gstaad (since 2021) and Uniqfeed, a startup for virtual advertising in sports (since 2019). He is also a brand ambassador for Uniqlo (since 2021) and Adelbodner Mineralquellen (since 2023).
As a player, he was a multiple Swiss junior champion. His best world ranking was No. 10, and he reached No. 622 in ATP tournaments.
For his achievements, he was awarded the Swiss Team of the Year 2014, Swiss Coach of the Year 2017, and the Swiss Olympic Coach Award 2024. He was part of the gold and silver medal teams at the Olympic Games in 2008, 2012, and 2016 and was the team leader of the Swiss tennis delegation.
