Young sports talents who take part in extensive training and many competitions in addition to school are dependent on additional support and understanding of their environment. Their parents play a decisive role in this and take on organisational, logistical, communicative and financial tasks. 

A cross-sport event that offers parents the opportunity to learn more about the world of competitive sports and its challenges. 

Take part in the 2nd Parent Workshop of Raeda Sports in cooperation with the Trb - tennisregionbasel!

The road to competitive sports is long and requires a lot of perseverance and know-how from parents, coaches and the environment of the tennis athlete. Coaches from World top-players and national federations will pass on their knowledge in the 2-day workshop in Basel.

The success of young athletes in competitive sports depends on many factors; but above all by the coaching staff and the environment of the talent. The workshop will address the following topics, among others: 

• Technical Capabilities 
• Athletic aspects 
• Psychological aspects 
• Tactical attitude on the court 
• Ethical aspects and the roles of parents, coaches and other people in the support staff

The forum will take place on October 21, 2024, in the afternoon at the Haus der Wirtschaft in Pratteln. Personalities from business and sports, including Jan Jenisch, Chairman of the Board of Directors Holcim, Bernhard Heusler, Co-President of Schweizer Sporthilfe, Bernd Reutemann, management consultant and owner of Trek Future Racing Team, Giulia Steingruber, former artistic gymnast and Olympic medal winner, as well as other guests will share their experiences and their experiences. The afternoon will be moderated by Rainer Maria Salzgeber, known from Swiss television SRF. 

After the forum, participants will have the opportunity to experience "Super Monday" at the Swiss Indoors Basel.
