Regula Berger

Regula Berger Regula Berger is a Swiss citizen (born 28 August 1982) and holds a Master of Law (MLaw), an LL.M., and a Master of Advanced Studies in Banking from the University of Bern.

Since March 2025, she has been Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chair of the Executive Board of Basler Kantonalbank and President of the Board of Directors of Bank Cler. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of Bank Cler since 2019.

Previously, she served as Deputy CEO and Vice Chair of the Executive Board of Basler Kantonalbank and headed the division “Commercial Client Sales.” Prior to that, she was responsible for the “Legal & Compliance” division and was a member of the Executive Management.

She began her professional career at Zürcher Kantonalbank, where she worked from 2007 to 2018 in legal advisory services for trading, becoming a member of the Executive Board in 2014. Her professional activities are complemented by numerous mandates, including serving as President of several foundations affiliated with Basler Kantonalbank, as a member and committee member of the Board of Directors of the Swiss Association of Cantonal Banks, and since 2014 as a member of the Arbitration Panel of the International Capital Markets Association (ICMA) in Zurich.
