Adrian Bosshard

Looking to the future and open to new perspectives. What perfectly applies to Rado also applies to Adrian Bosshard. As CEO, since July 2020 he has been guiding our brand with great dedication, many years of experience, and a deep passion for the Swiss watch industry. Under his leadership, Rado continues striving to be tangibly different—with visionary designs, innovative high-tech materials, unconventional collaborations, and products that make unique style statements.

Before joining Rado, Adrian Bosshard served as CEO of Certina, one of our Swatch Group sister brands, for 17 years. In 2008, the Swatch Group also entrusted him with responsibility for the brand Union Glashütte, whose fundamental repositioning he played a key role in shaping.

Adrian Bosshard grew up in the Biel region and holds a degree in economics from IFKS Bern. In addition to his native language German, he speaks English, French, and Italian. As a professional motorcycle racer, he was multiple Swiss champion in the 1980s and 1990s and competed in MotoGP World Championship road races until 1996. He still loves fair competition and is an enthusiastic skier and cyclist.

On his wrist, Adrian Bosshard wears a highlight from the 2021 collection: the Rado Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic. For him, this watch represents the essence of Rado’s DNA, perfectly connecting the brand’s roots with the present.
