Øivind Sorvald

Øivind Sorvald serves as the Director of Development for the Norwegian Tennis Association (NTF), where he has been leading coach education courses for over 30 years. His impressive career includes working as an analyst for renowned coaches of Top 10 world-ranked players and providing technical and tactical analysis for Casper Ruud for more than 14 years.

In addition, Øivind contributes as a part-time coach educator for the French Federation, extending his expertise internationally. For over 15 years, he has been a tennis expert for Eurosport, providing on-site analysis during ATP circuit and Grand Slam matches.

A PTR Tester since 1992, Øivind was honored as the PTR Pro of the Year in 2014 and is recognized as a PTR International Master Professional. Earlier in his career, he held the position of Director of Tennis at Van der Meer Tennis in Hilton Head and Lakeland, Florida, as well as at the National Tennis Center in OsloØivind brings over 40 years of coaching experience and has used video analysis extensively for more than three decades. Over the last ten years, he has developed a specialized program and methodology for analyzing technical and tactical aspects of tennis. 

Furthermore, he contributes as a coach for various sports at the Olympic Center in Oslo, Norway.
