Antonio Djakovic with 2 bronze medals at the European Championships in Belgrade

Antonio Djakovic won 2 bronze medals at the European Championships in Belgrade. The 21-year-old from Thurgau won bronze in the 200 m and 400 m freestyle. 

In the 200m freestyle, Antonio was able to receive his first European Championship medal in Belgrade. In an impressive way, he was able to swim to third place with an outstanding final sprint. 

Over 400 m, Antonio turned up the heat again on the last length, after he was still ranked 5th at the turn and was able to secure 3rd place. He was only 0.18 seconds short of the silver medal.
