Noelia Manta from the Raeda Sports junior team inspires in Gladbeck – reaching the final as a milestone

The young Swiss tennis player Noelia Manta has set a strong exclamation mark at the J200 tournament in Gladbeck. With an impressive series of victories, the 16-year-old fought her way to the final of the renowned youth tournament - a significant step in her still young career.
Noelia convinced throughout the tournament week with her fighting attitude, precise baseline play and remarkable nerves. Especially in the close matches, she showed that she not only has talent, but also mental maturity. Her path to the final led her through higher-seeded players, against whom she shone with tactical cleverness and endurance.
In the final she met the No. 2 seeded Indian Maaya Rajeshwaran, who ultimately prevailed 6-2, 6-4. Despite the defeat, it was a match of equals – Manta was already leading 4-1 in the second set before Rajeshwaran turned the game around. Nevertheless, it was a success for Noelia: "I learned a lot and am proud of my achievement. This final motivates me to work even harder," she said after the match.
By reaching the final in Gladbeck, Manta not only improves in the ITF junior rankings, but also moves more into the international spotlight. Her performance in Germany shows that she is one of the most promising talents in European junior tennis.
The Swiss tennis world can be excited – Noelia Manta is well on her way to making a name for herself.
