In many respects, parents are crucial for the sporting careers of young athletes. Supporting, encouraging and letting go at the right moment are demanding tasks that are carried out by sports mothers and fathers.

Young sports talents who take part in extensive training and many competitions in addition to school are dependent on additional support and understanding of their environment. Their parents play a decisive role in this and take on organisational, logistical, communicative and financial tasks.

A cross-sport event that offers parents the opportunity to learn more about the world of competitive sports and its challenges and to exchange ideas with other parents. It's a unique opportunity to gain insights into the world of sports, get valuable tips for their children's athletic development, and network with like-minded people! ​​
The Speakers:
Alex Frei, Football Coach
Alex Frei, a former Swiss footballer and record goalscorer for the Swiss national team, will share his experiences and give valuable tips along the way.
Dr. Daniel Studer, Orthopedic for Children
Dr. Daniel Studer has been a senior physician for pediatric orthopedics and traumatology at the Children's Hospital Basel since May 2017. Since May 2023, he has also been team leader for spine at the Children's Hospital Basel. His expertise and experience make him an outstanding speaker.
Martin Feigenwinter, Sports Mental Coach
Martin is a former Olympian and will be able to pass on important aspects as a mental coach.
Urs Bachmann, Helvetia Insurance
Business consultant at Helvetia Insurance with over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. In order for the young athletes to be successful not only on a personal and sporting level, certain risks must be protected in the best possible way in order to give parents a bit of peace of mind. Urs shows what is necessary.
Luca Fernandes, Beyond Sports
Luca is the founder of Beyond Sports, an innovative company, that has developed a school program specifically designed to meet the needs of elite athletes. In his presentation, he will show how top-class sport can be ideally combined with school education.
The contribution to expenses per family amounts to CHF 50 and can be paid by Twint or credit card at the registration.
